1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of every government office. We do not maintain official records, obtain them for visitors, conduct official checks, or submit government forms.

Its purpose is to identify the Marion County Sheriff's Department, criminal-court clerks, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and Tennessee Sex Offender Registry as custodians and to provide links to outside tools that may assist lawful research.

Access to Tennessee government records is governed by the Tennessee Public Records Act. TBI's public criminal-history dissemination operates under Tenn. Code Ann. §38-6-120. Those laws do not make this private website a government custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using this resource, you agree not to:

• Use the site in violation of federal, Tennessee, or local law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information found here
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
• Deploy bots, scraping tools, or other automated collection methods
• Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information from this site or a linked service to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. Tennessee law places specific limits on use of Tennessee Sex Offender Registry data, and misuse against a registrant may carry criminal consequences. Registry publication supports lawful public-safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism or discriminatory action.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not prepare consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners' tools are not offered for evaluating applicants, insurance risk, rental applications, or credit. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Make an employment decision
• Evaluate a tenant or housing applicant
• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

Any legally authorized check for a regulated purpose must come through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation or a provider that complies with the FCRA.
